2007 Scarf Drive for Food & Friends' Clients

For the fourth consecutive year, Food & Friends is collecting handmade scarves, along with hats, gloves, shawls, afghans and other goodies, to keep our clients toasty this winter.  Last year, Food & Friends collected enough scarves for each of our clients to receive one, and we hope to do the same this year.  Scarves need not be elaborate or expensive, but handmade is preferred.  Donated yarn and knitting needles are available at Food & Friends. Contact Henry Trier for more information, 202.269.6898.

Donations may be sent to:
Food & Friends
Attn:  Henry Trier
219 Riggs Road, NE
Washington, DC  20011

You may also deliver your donation directly to Food & Friends, Monday - Saturday.  Please deliver your donations by February 6.

Knitting & crochet classes will begin again in June. Please contact knitting networker, Michelle Strange, for more information on classes.  The Food & Friends knitting project is one of the ways that Food & Friends enhances the lives of the people we serve.
